Sometimes thereʼs a collision between a given prompt and what a student wants to draw. The prompt we gave for this drawing was to depict what school will look like in the future. Two students wanted to draw a humorous long-legged frog they workshopped in their notebooks.

No problem! We suggested this mutated frog could be the result of a laboratory experiment. By embracing their humor, we motivated students to become engaged with the theme and they created this drawing of a student performing an experiment assisted by a robot.
