Two second-grade students and a high-school student collaborated to create this giraffe mural based on the theme of “animal families.” In collaborations like this, the older student can create outlines, such as this mother giraffe, and younger students can fill it in with patterns. The second-graders used the high-schooler’s work as a guide to draw the baby giraffe.
