For the Exquisite Corpse drawing exercise, students will create the head, torso, and legs of three different figures. To start, each student has 10–15 minutes to work on the head and neck of a figure. When each student has finished drawing their heads, they pass the drawing to the student to their right, and they have 10–15 minutes to add a torso and arms. They pass the drawing to the right again, and have 10–15 minutes to draw the lower body and legs. This game results in charming and hilarious hybrids. Prepare students not to think of the figure they start as their figure, but as a collaborative work that will belong to all three artists who work on it.
