STUDENT ACTIVITY
Artistic Behavior: Artists Collect and Synthesize
Organize students into small groups and give them a bag and instructions to walk around the school for fifteen minutes collecting items they find. When they return, challenge each group to create a work of art using the items they have collected.
Artistic Behavior: Artists Tell Stories
In small groups, one student is blindfolded and holds a camera. Two other students guide the blindfolded student around a designated area. At random intervals, the blindfolded student takes photographs. When the students return, the group reviews the photographs and creates a story based on the random images.
