We always ask students not to use words or letters in their drawings. They often want to depict characters in drawings speaking to each other or thinking. Instead of using words to indicate this communication, we encourage them to use drawings inside of drawings.
Here, a woman tells a campfire story about aliens. The viewer gets a charming visual of an alien and is not distracted from the quality of the drawing by having to read text.
